CANDLE LIGHTING POEMS

Thanks so much for your interest in my Candle Lighting Poems. Here’s the way it works: You and the Bar/Bat Mitzvah child make a list of all the people you’d like to honor with a candle. Next to each name (could be a whole family) write phrases about each person…such as “we love to spend Thanksgivings with them” or “She was my Mom’s best friend from school”, or “I love this cousin, but I just can’t believe he’s a Mets fan!”, etc. Then you would send this information to me by email, mail, or (if you live locally) in person. I would then transform this into clever, upbeat, sentimental – whatever you would like – poems. I would then send it back to you for approval and/or revisions which I would make at no extra charge. Also, if you have a last minute cancellation or change, just give me a call, and I’ll help you out with that too…also at no extra charge.

ORIGINAL SONGS

Original Songs have been especially popular at Weddings, Surprise Parties, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Showers, and Retirement Parties. A special song to the tune of "Love and Marriage" or "What a Wonderful World" can add that extra touch of happy emotion to a romantic wedding day. Here's how that would work: You would give me the basic information about the bride and groom...how they met...their interests...a funny anecdote...whatever. Then we would talk and figure out what song would be appropriate (from Sinatra to Billy Joel to Coldplay). Then I would write the lyrics and present them to you. Once you approve, I would get in touch with your band and make sure the singer knew exactly how to perform the song. (If you're brave, you might choose to sing it yourself...or with friends...and I'd help you with that too!).

SPECIAL POEMS

These poems really work at Weddings, Birthday Parties, Anniversary Parties, Showers, and Surprise Parties . Here’s how it works: You jot down the facts about the person…how you met…when you married…names of your kids…hobbies…business…travel experiences…etc., and I will present you with a humorous, clever, and perhaps sentimental poem for you to read at the occasion.

PRICING

Upon agreement of my writing your poems or your special song, a small deposit will be required. The balance will be due upon receipt of the poems or song. Once I have the information needed from you, you will have your poems/song in one week. Any revisions or changes will be at no extra charge.
